Whelen's QuickFit is designed for fast and effortless installation, without any vehicle damage. The bolt-on system securely mounts QuickFit with no cutting or drilling, for a strong and secure rooftop mount. Choose from an aluminum (not for use with magnetic mount lights) or steel housing (will work with magnetic mount lights) in black or white from the drop down above. *Due to a structural change to the Dodge cab between model year 2018 and 2019 and new placement of the third brake light, the QFRAM1 QuickFit model will not work with the 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic. Whelen’s Engineering team is in the process of redesigning a new QuickFit mount to work with this cab change.

I wanted to give this 5 stars, but my OCD is preventing that. First I should say that Stobes N More are very easy to deal with and the product was to my door very quickly. This platform was mounted to a 2019 F150. The platform is holding a Whelen Mini Justice and fits about perfectly. Now mounting to the truck... yeah, it's simple. But this is where the OCD kicks in. I could not get the mount to sit level with the truck. It actually leans back. Tried every trick i knew without modifying the product itself. For example, adding a few washers to the studs which already had spacers to try to bring the front down. (Didn't work.) I tried backing off the mounting nuts on the studs thinking it was pulling it in too far. All that did was create gaps between the gasket and truck. After 45mins and a lot of creative words, I attempted to come to terms with it. Since it's been on the truck for about two or three weeks and with sitting in the sun a few days, it seems that the foam gasket that seals the platform to the truck has relaxed and softened a bit and started to let the front come down, but it still isn't level. Still concerned on how long this will last sealing the weather (water) out of the truck and kind of cringing thinking how it will do with the snow and ice on the way soon. Haven't taken it on an extended run at 70mph on the interstate but have this feeling it's going to lift the front of the platform back up. Have used Whelen products for years with no issues. I have my doubts on this. The product itself is well constructed but watch the gaskets / foam seals that are pre-mounted with adhesive. These weren't applied straight on mine. Would I buy this again? Eh. Not sure... probably not. Strobes N More had a great price and I trusted the Whelen brand which i was liking better than the Acari mount. Would have tried to return it, but I assumed it was going to be a good fit so i drilled and mounted the lightbar on the platform before I even tried it up against the truck. (Never assume, right?) I'm going with three stars due to the efficiency of SNM being great and review of the platform combined, but would have been one/two stars if it was just for the product.

Aluminum cab on 2017 F150. Purchased this to utilize magnetic mount light. Very sturdy mount, low profile design, easy install & works great !!!

Firefighter/EMT

Was very easy to install onto my 2019 F150. Nice tight fit, Only suggestion would be to pre-drill standard holes for standard light bars or machine a couple of standard slots to make it easier for light bar mounting.
